I began making ring bearers’ cushions when I was a teenager, after a family member purchased a specialty wedding gift shop. I thought the mass produced ring bearers’ cushions made from cheap novelty satin were, quite frankly, awful. I played with some designs and created signature cushions made of peau de soie with long draping lace. My cushions sold out every week. Now, 30 years later, I have expanded my product line to include garters, hair accessories, flower girl baskets and pomanders, jewellery, veils and headpieces, and more. I can create custom accessories to match any unique wedding detail. My most popular cushions have exquisite trains, a signature of Petrov Designs.
Valerie Denomme is an exceptionally talented floral designer who makes gorgeous pomanders and hair accessories. I love her eye for colour and the detail and beauty in her creations. Christine Thomas has wonderful style sense and I have admired her jewellery for some time.
